You’ll lead manual + automation teams, manage the full testing lifecycle, and make sure delivery meets both business and technical expectations.

The Opportunity

You’ll own the end-to-end testing function:

• test strategy and planning

• execution governance

• defect management and triage

• QA metrics and leakage control

• SIT → UAT handover

• automation strategy and regression stability

This role is about predictable releases and measurable quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and manage overall test strategy, test plan, QA processes

• Lead and manage manual + automation testing teams

• Oversee creation and execution of:

  • test scenarios, test cases, test data

• Ensure coverage across:

  • functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end

• Own defect lifecycle:

  • tracking, triage, resolution coordination with dev teams

• Monitor QA metrics:

  • coverage, defect trends, defect leakage

• Ensure clean handover from SIT/QA to UAT (results + defect logs)

• Drive automation strategy and maintain regression suites

• Run test phase reviews, defect analysis, root cause analysis

• Ensure all testing aligns to company QA standards and procedures

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

✅ 8–12+ years in software testing / QA
✅ Proven experience leading QA teams and managing test delivery
✅ Strong SDLC/STLC knowledge + Agile delivery experience
✅ Tools: Jira, plus automation exposure (Selenium, Appium, Sauce Labs)
✅ API testing: Postman or SoapUI
✅ SQL knowledge for database validation
✅ Experience across web + mobile + automation testing
✅ Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred: Insurance domain experience (General or Life)
