The Opportunity
You’re responsible for the two things that separate real leads from “title leads”:
delivery on schedule
code quality that survives production
You’ll collaborate daily with upstream/downstream teams, maintain standards, drive documentation, and guide developers to ship clean, reusable modules.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
Own technical design/spec documentation aligned to SDLC and project standards
Ensure delivery is completed within schedule and meets system/user requirements
Enforce development guidelines, standards, and quality controls
Lead and review developers’ code quality (hands-on technical leadership)
Collaborate across teams through the full SDLC (design → dev → test → release)
Provide technical support for users: operational guidance + troubleshooting
Maintain technical manuals, user guides, and operating procedures
Perform feasibility studies and translate user requirements into solutions
Communicate continuously with team members, users, and vendors
What You Must Bring (Non-Negotiable)
✅ Bachelor’s Degree (CS/IT or equivalent)
✅ 7+ years experience in Java web-based financial applications AND leading a dev team
✅ 5+ years hands-on in Java Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, CSS
✅ Strong in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, SQL
✅ Proven ability to guide and review developers’ code
✅ Experience in Insurance/Financial Industry

Strong fundamentals: OOP design, data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis
Strong SDLC discipline: testing, troubleshooting, version control (managed)
DB exposure: PostgreSQL / DB2 / Oracle, plus PL/SQL

Maven scripting + CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps automation
Agile development exposure
