This is not a support-only role.
This is for hands-on ESB Developers who can design, build, test, and support enterprise-scale integration platforms using IBM technologies.

If you’ve worked with IBM App Connect, IBM API Gateway, IBM MQ, and production-grade integrations — this role is for you.

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1️⃣ API & ESB Development

• Work with peers and project managers to understand integration requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end integration solutions

• Build APIs, middleware, and ESB services using:

  • IBM App Connect

  • IBM MQ

  • IBM API Gateway

• Develop integrations using Java, Python, JavaScript, Gateway Script

• Configure API Gateway for security, traffic control, and monitoring

• Optimize API performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues

2️⃣ Data Transformation & Mapping

• Manage data transformation and mapping across heterogeneous systems

• Work with formats such as JSON, XML, ISO8583

• Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across all integration flows

3️⃣ Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Ensure solutions meet business, performance, and compliance requirements

---

4️⃣ Monitoring, Maintenance & Support

• Monitor integration pipelines for availability and reliability

• Support production issue analysis and resolution

• Perform root-cause analysis and preventive improvements

---

5️⃣ Standards, Security & DevOps

• Adhere to SDLC and coding standards

• Use CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing

• Ensure security and compliance across all integration endpoints

✔ Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Gateway & IBM App Connect
✔ Integration programming skills: ESQL, Java, Unix shell scripting
✔ Experience designing and supporting complex enterprise integrations
✔ Strong knowledge of REST APIs, IBM MQ, threading & caching
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
