🚀 About the Role:
We're looking for a Platform Reliability Engineer (PRE) to join our dynamic Infrastructure team. You'll be responsible for managing and operating internal container platforms (Tanzu, Kubernetes), focusing on reliability, performance, security, and scalability.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain Tanzu Application Service and Kubernetes clusters.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform availability and performance.

Handle resource provisioning, incident response, capacity planning, and 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Identify and automate repetitive/manual tasks to enhance system efficiency.
-
Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Ansible, Terraform, etc.

Apply security patches and upgrades following Broadcom Tanzu advisories.

Collaborate across teams to drive infrastructure automation, buildpacks, and DevOps best practices.
-
Ensure compliance with internal risk policies, regulatory guidelines, and security standards.
🧠 Requirements:
-
Hands-on experience as a Platform/Site Reliability Engineer or strong DevOps background.

Tanzu Application Service & Kubernetes cluster management experience.
-
Familiar with DevOps pipelines & automation tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible, Maven, Bitbucket, etc.

Skilled in infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, Docker, Packer, Kubernetes.

Programming/scripting proficiency in at least one: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby.

Understanding of CI/CD practices, version control, buildpack management.
-
Experience troubleshooting network-related issues and working with NSX-T.
-
Willing to work in shifts and provide on-call support (rotation basis).
