We’re on the hunt for a Cardlink / VisionPlus Developer (L2) with Mainframe mastery and payment tech expertise to join a mission-critical banking project in Kuala Lumpur. If you're confident with COBOL, JCL, CICS, Control-M, and can handle API & MQ integrations, this is your launchpad! 🚀
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Mainframe Development & Support
Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS for card processing and clearing.
🔹 API & Middleware Integration
Design, build, and support robust API and MQ-based systems. Bonus: If you love working with JSON & HTML formats.
🔹 Batch Job Management with Control-M
Set up, monitor, and optimize scheduled jobs for maximum uptime.
🔹 Troubleshooting & Optimization
Analyze system performance and debug transaction failures with confidence.
🔹 Stakeholder Collaboration
Engage with business teams, vendors, and infra to streamline payment solutions.
🔹 Compliance & Security
Stay compliant with PCI-DSS, EMV, and ISO 8583 standards while maintaining airtight data integrity.
🔹 Documentation & Process Improvement
Keep everything well-documented while identifying ways to improve performance.
✅ What We’re Looking For
✔️ 8+ years of total experience, 6+ years relevant in Mainframe/Payments
✔️ Advanced knowledge in CICS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM
✔️ Solid hands-on experience with Control-M, MQ, API integrations
✔️ Understanding of JSON, HTML, and payment transaction protocols
✔️ Strong debugging skills and proactive mindset
✔️ High integrity, organized, and driven by compliance
✔️ Able to join within 45 days or less
✔️ Local preferred, but open to expatriates
