Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Mongo DBA to install, configure, and maintain MongoDB databases in production environments.

In this role, you will manage MongoDB Replica Sets to ensure high availability and stability, monitor database performance, replication health, and storage utilization, and drive query tuning and indexing optimization to keep systems fast and efficient.

You will also manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support database deployments with application and infrastructure teams. In addition, you will help implement database security including user access control, authentication, and encryption basics, while maintaining documentation and following enterprise data governance practices.

Job Requirements:

• 3–6 years of database administration experience
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on MongoDB DBA experience
• Strong experience managing MongoDB Replica Sets
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with backup and recovery processes
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Basic scripting knowledge in Shell or Python
• Experience with monitoring tools such as MongoDB Atlas, PMM, Grafana, or similar
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP is preferred
• Exposure to MongoDB Sharding is an advantage
• Experience in insurance or financial services is preferred but not required
