The Opportunity
This is a full-scope Basis role: build + run + improve.
You’ll be responsible for keeping SAP landscapes stable, secure, and performant — and for ensuring changes are executed cleanly with proper documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Install, configure, upgrade SAP systems: ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager
System monitoring, performance tuning, and health checks
Manage client copies, system refreshes, transports, background jobs
User administration, authorizations, and security roles
Troubleshoot issues at OS, DB, and SAP application levels
Coordinate with functional/dev/infra teams for delivery and incident resolution
Maintain backups and support DR (Disaster Recovery)
Apply SAP Notes, support packs, kernel upgrades, patches
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements
Document activities and support end users during technical incidents
Essential Skills (Non-Negotiable)
✅ Strong SAP Basis knowledge: installation + configuration
✅ Database exposure: HANA (primary) + Oracle/SQL Server/others
✅ Connectivity/security: RFC, transports, SAP Router, SSL, SSO
✅ OS familiarity: Linux, Windows, AIX
✅ Strong troubleshooting + analytical + communication skills
✅ Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
