The Opportunity
You will own delivery outcomes for cross-platform insurance mobile apps — ensuring predictable releases, strong quality, and secure implementation. Your success will be measured by:
On-time delivery and release predictability
App stability, performance, and crash-free sessions
Security, compliance readiness, and audit-friendly documentation
Team velocity, stakeholder alignment, and delivery transparency
What You’ll Be Doing
Own the end-to-end delivery of mobile app initiatives (build → test → release → post-release monitoring)
Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retros) and keep execution disciplined
Build and manage delivery plans: scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and release calendars
Coordinate cross-functional teams: Mobile (Ionic/Flutter), Backend (Java APIs), QA, Security, Product/Business
Ensure engineering best practices: code reviews, branching strategy, CI/CD, release gating, defect management
Drive performance and stability goals (monitoring, crash analytics, regression prevention)
Enforce security standards required in Insurance apps (secure SDLC, vulnerability remediation, compliance checks)
Manage UAT cycles and stakeholder sign-offs; run go-live and hypercare support
Report delivery status clearly (progress, blockers, RAID logs, KPIs)
What You Must Bring
✅ Proven experience as a Delivery Manager / Project Manager / Scrum Master delivering mobile apps
✅ Strong understanding of cross-platform development (Ionic mandatory exposure preferred; Flutter is a plus)
✅ Ability to manage teams working with Angular and API integration (Java-based backend preferred)
✅ Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery, QA processes, and release management
✅ Experience working in regulated domains (Insurance / Banking / FinTech) is a big advantage
✅ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and execution mindset
✅ Comfortable working onsite at KL Sentral
Good to Have
Experience with mobile CI/CD (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
AppStore/PlayStore release experience, versioning, rollout strategy
Familiarity with OWASP Mobile, penetration testing coordination, or security reviews
Experience managing vendors / external development teams
