improving system configurations
building new features
and keeping production stable through real root-cause analysis and prevention

What You’ll Be Doing
Support business operations by enhancing/configuring systems and building new Java features
Monitor performance and handle production disruptions:
analyze issues
identify root causes
produce reports + recommendations to prevent recurrence
Improve code quality and automation, especially testing
Identify tech trends and propose solutions that boost productivity and operations
Maintain strong documentation and efficient production support/development processes
What You Must Bring
✅ 6+ years as a developer (Waterfall and/or Agile)
✅ Strong understanding of dev process: testing, code quality, design
✅ Experience as a technical lead on a project (ownership mindset)
✅ Production support exposure is a strong advantage
✅ Background in finance/banking/insurance preferred
✅ Degree in IT (or equivalent learning path; bootcamp accepted)
✅ ITIL certification is a plus
Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Proven backend Java experience
Strong OOP + design patterns
Frameworks: Spring and/or Hibernate
Strong SQL + RDBMS: Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL
Version control: Git (RTC acceptable)
REST APIs / web services
JUnit
Strong problem-solving + attention to detail
Clear communication with both tech teams and business users
