We’re hiring an MSSQL Database Administrator to take full ownership of performance, availability, and stability across enterprise-grade SQL Server environments.
Your Mission (Daily, Critical & High-Impact):
Service, Incident & Change Ownership

Review, validate, and execute Service Requests, Incident Reports & Change Requests with accuracy and urgency.

Dig into incidents with root-cause analysis, deep troubleshooting, and actionable recommendations.

Communicate directly with users when details are missing — no assumptions, no guesswork.

Deliver all SR/IR/CRs within strict SLAs & KPIs.
Database Engineering & Operations
-
Manage and optimize MSSQL databases across production and non-production environments.
-
Perform proactive monitoring, diagnosis, and performance tuning before users feel pain.
-
Design, install, and maintain standalone and cluster environments with failover resilience.

Implement robust backup, recovery, and DR strategies that protect the business from disaster.

Identify and resolve instance corruption, performance bottlenecks, failed jobs, and more.
Optimization, Security & Architecture

Tune queries, improve schema design, and coach developers on best practices.

Execute index rebuilds, query optimization, capacity planning, patching, and upgrades.

Ensure all databases meet security & compliance standards — no exceptions.

Maintain clean, complete documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Production Support & Collaboration

Support after-hours deployments and scheduled maintenance.

Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems.

Collaborate with developers, system admins, and functional teams to ensure efficient data operations.
You’ll Fit If You Bring:

A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

5+ years of MSSQL DBA experience — production-level, not academic.
-
Strong hands-on skills: performance tuning, HA/Clustering, backup/recovery, DR planning, and security.
-
Experience with incident management, change management, and structured problem-solving.
-
Knowledge of Oracle or other RDBMS = advantage.
-
Willingness to travel for business when required.
