We’re hiring a Mainframe Engineer to own, support, and optimize high-performance z/OS environments for one of the world’s leading enterprises.

What You’ll Do (And Own):

• Administer and support CICS and MQ subsystems in large-scale mainframe environments.

• Perform installation, configuration, and debugging of z/OS systems.

• Provide upgrade and maintenance support for applications using IBM MQSeries on z/OS.

• Monitor and manage MQ objects and Queue Managers to maintain peak performance and availability.

• Perform backups, resets, and message management based on authorized requests.

• Start, stop, and tune MQ subsystems to ensure optimal system health.

• Generate monthly usage reports and performance statistics.

• Implement automation and system dependency reviews to improve reliability.

• Handle incident, problem, and service requests for CICS, MQ, and DB2 components.

You’ll Fit If You…

• Have 6–8 years of hands-on experience in CICS, MQ, and z/OS system administration.

• Know how to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mainframe environments under pressure.

• Are comfortable supporting critical production systems with 24×7 reliability expectations.

• Have experience with mainframe monitoring, backup, and automation tools.

• Communicate clearly and take ownership of results.
