We’re hiring a Mainframe Engineer to own, support, and optimize high-performance z/OS environments for one of the world’s leading enterprises.
What You’ll Do (And Own):

Administer and support CICS and MQ subsystems in large-scale mainframe environments.

Perform installation, configuration, and debugging of z/OS systems.

Provide upgrade and maintenance support for applications using IBM MQSeries on z/OS.

Monitor and manage MQ objects and Queue Managers to maintain peak performance and availability.

Perform backups, resets, and message management based on authorized requests.
-
Start, stop, and tune MQ subsystems to ensure optimal system health.

Generate monthly usage reports and performance statistics.

Implement automation and system dependency reviews to improve reliability.

Handle incident, problem, and service requests for CICS, MQ, and DB2 components.
You’ll Fit If You…

Have 6–8 years of hands-on experience in CICS, MQ, and z/OS system administration.

Know how to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mainframe environments under pressure.

Are comfortable supporting critical production systems with 24×7 reliability expectations.

Have experience with mainframe monitoring, backup, and automation tools.

Communicate clearly and take ownership of results.
