🔧 What You’ll Own:

Administer Oracle Solaris OS—install, configure, patch, and monitor performance

Run diagnostics and troubleshoot issues to keep downtime at zero

Perform lifecycle support: preventive maintenance, incident handling, and upgrades

Collaborate with network, storage, and app teams for seamless integration

Automate routine tasks using Bash, Perl, or Python

Maintain clear, reliable documentation for configuration, operations, and support

Follow ITIL/ITSM frameworks and uphold SLA standards
🧠 What You Bring:

Solid Solaris experience (patching, monitoring, and tuning)

Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise UNIX environments

Exposure to multiple UNIX flavors (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)

Familiar with incident/change management under ITIL

Scripting skills for automation (Bash, Perl, Python)

Able to communicate clearly and document procedures with precision
