We’re looking for a QA/Tester (Manual) to join our Insurance Consulting team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is more than test cases and defect logs—it’s about ensuring customer confidence in every click.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

Build test plans, design scenarios, and execute test cases with full coverage

Perform static, functional, non-functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing
-
Log defects, run triage meetings, and coordinate SIT to UAT handoffs
-
Maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices, review checklists, and test documentation
-
Analyze metrics across all test phases, perform causal defect reviews
-
Ensure deliverables are defect-free, well-documented, and aligned with business requirements

Work with Agile teams and business users in a highly collaborative environment
🛠 What You Bring

4–5 years experience in manual software testing
-
Proven skills in:
-
Agile & SDLC practices
-
Test & defect management tools (e.g., Jira, SauceLab)
-
API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
-
Writing SQL queries & validating data
-

Strong documentation habits: test cases, RTMs, test logs, and handover reports
-
Insurance domain experience (General & Life) is a major plus
-
Analytical mindset, independent work ethic, and sharp communication skills
