We’re looking for a COBOL 400 Developer (3–5 years) to join our Core Banking – Channels & EAI team. In this role, you’ll work on mission-critical host integration solutions across banking systems, ensuring the seamless operation of communication between AS400 applications and external platforms.

📌 What You’ll Be Doing

Design, develop, and enhance AS400 Channels & EAI applications using COBOL 400

Develop and maintain host integration solutions with various core banking and third-party systems

Collaborate with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) teams to ensure seamless messaging and workflows

Optimize AS400/DB2 databases for efficient performance

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and production issues

Support DevOps pipelines for AS400 (CI/CD, automation) (Good to have)

Use ALDON for automated deployment and change management (Good to have)

Ensure adherence to banking security standards and compliance frameworks
✅ Required Skills
Mandatory:

Strong experience in COBOL 400 development on AS400

Proven background in host integration across banking systems

Familiarity with AS400/DB2 environments
Nice to Have:

Exposure to DevOps best practices in AS400 environments

Hands-on with ALDON for deployment automation

Understanding of Channels & EAI within Core Banking ecosystems
