Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Developer with strong Avaloq experience to join a high-impact banking technology environment in Kuala Lumpur.

You will design, develop, and enhance Avaloq components using Avaloq Script and Oracle SQL / PL-SQL. You will also support key regulatory initiatives such as CRS, SST, Basel III, ACCIF, and CCRIS, while ensuring all solutions align with banking standards, architecture, and compliance requirements.

This role goes beyond coding. You will provide Level 2 / Level 3 application support, investigate data, batch, and interface issues, support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation validation, and work closely with external vendors and implementation partners to review fixes and deliverables.

You will also play a key role in change management, RFC preparation, CAB deployment activities, and support on-site sessions during workshops, testing, deployment, and critical support periods.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
• Avaloq certification
• Minimum 3–8 years of hands-on Avaloq development experience
• Experience supporting Private Banking / Wealth Management systems
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven banking initiatives
• Experience in a regulated banking environment is preferred
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Avaloq Script
  • Oracle SQL / PL-SQL
  • Avaloq data model and batch processing
