We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a leading international bank in Robinson Road, Singapore.
In this role, you’ll be the architect behind how data flows, transforms, and powers decisions across business lines — from trading floors to analytics dashboards.
You’ll work with architects, analysts, and project managers to design solutions that are fast, scalable, and compliant — while mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement.

⚙️ What You’ll Do

Develop and implement data transformation, analytics, and visualization solutions.

Apply data mining, modelling, NLP, and machine learning to structured and unstructured datasets.

Maintain and enhance BI solutions and ETL pipelines while driving automation and efficiency.

Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and business teams to define and deliver technical solutions.

Conduct peer reviews, mentoring, and contribute to department-level innovation initiatives.

Ensure compliance with the company’s standards, policies, and code of conduct.
🧠 What You Bring
✔ 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally in banking or financial services
✔ Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI stack, including:
- Tabular Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Data Warehousing
- Performance Tuning
- Data Transformations & Quality Checks
- Power BI Dashboarding and Reporting
✔ Proficiency with CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps)
✔ Ability to design, document, and present technical solutions clearly
✔ Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
💡 Bonus Skills (Preferred):

Familiarity with Python, Spark, or modern data science tools

Experience with test-driven development and data visualization frameworks
