We're looking for a Senior AS400 System & Hardware Engineer to ensure core infrastructure stability across enterprise clients. If you're skilled in Power systems, OS patching, BRMS, and storage integrations — you’re already ahead of the pack.
This isn’t just another admin gig. This is mission-critical engineering that keeps enterprise tech moving.
🧱 What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver hardware and OS-level support for AS400/iSeries environments

Perform scratch installations, upgrades, and patching (Power7–Power10)
-
Diagnose and resolve system-level issues on-site and remotely
-
Work closely with Flash/V7000/V9000/DS8000 storage systems
-
Maintain backups via BRMS or Tivoli tools
-
Support firmware refreshes and conduct system health checks
-
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for project implementations
-
Respond quickly to critical support escalations with precision and calm
✅ What You Bring:

5+ years in AS400 system + hardware support
-
Deep experience with Power systems, OS upgrades, and patching
-
Familiar with BRMS, Tivoli, and related recovery tools
-
Cross-OS experience (Unix, Windows a plus)
-
Ability to work independently and on-site when required

Strong written & spoken communication skills
-
Bonus: Flash System storage knowledge, Project Coordination, Immediate availability
