🛠️ Job Responsibilities
✅ AS400 Application Development
• Design, develop, and maintain RPGLE & CL based core banking applications
• Optimize legacy programs and enhance stability
✅ Core Banking Modules
• Work with real-time systems handling loans, deposits, payments, and accounts
• Roll out regulatory and compliance-driven changes
✅ Database & Integration
• Manage DB2/400 databases and write complex SQL queries, triggers & stored procs
• Integrate with middleware, APIs, and external banking/payment systems
✅ Performance & System Optimization
• Tune system performance for high-volume banking transactions
• Identify bottlenecks in batch jobs and transaction processing
✅ Compliance & Security
• Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia, PCI-DSS, ISO standards
• Implement data encryption, access controls, and audit logs
✅ L3 Production Support
• Resolve failed transactions, customer issues, and reconcile data discrepancies
• Provide issue resolution during outages, cutovers, and patch rollouts
✅ Team Collaboration & Documentation
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing
• Liaise with BAs, testers, ops & vendors
🎓 Job Requirements
✔️ Experience Level: L2 (6–9 years)
✔️ Must-Have Skills:
• AS400 (RPGLE, CL, DB2/400)
