We are looking for experienced AS400 Engineers to support the development and modernization of mission-critical applications for insurance and superannuation systems. You'll work with RPG, CLLE, and DB2 to deliver scalable solutions while integrating with modern APIs and tech platforms.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
🧩 Design, develop, and enhance AS400/iSeries applications
📄 Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient RPG solutions
💻 Code in RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, and manage DB2 databases
🔗 Integrate AS400 with APIs, web services, and modern platforms
🔍 Troubleshoot and support production issues with minimal downtime
🤝 Collaborate with BAs, testers, and stakeholders for continuous improvement
🛡️ Implement data security and regulatory compliance
🚀 Support system upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects
✅ Must-Have Skills:
🔧 5+ years of AS400/iSeries development experience
💻 Expertise in RPG (RPGLE, RPG IV), CLLE, and DB2
📊 Proficient in SQL for DB2 data querying and management
🏦 Strong understanding of insurance & superannuation processes
🔗 Experience integrating with web services, APIs, or cloud platforms
🧠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
📣 Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
🌟 Nice to Have:
🖥️ Knowledge of COBOL on AS400
☁️ Familiarity with cloud-based modernization projects
